Relationships are an extremely meaningful part of our lives and can bring us great happiness and fulfilment, whether its a friend, the person next door or a partnership, relationships can offer us a great source of advice, guidance, love and support.
All relationships take a lot of hard work, patience and respect to stay strong and when they do break down they can leave you feeling very lonely, disappointed and unsure about what to do. In the event of children being involved, it can leave you feeling guilty and fearful about the effect it may have on them.
Other times the relationship may no longer be fulfilling or supportive, yet you may feel the need to stay in the relationship as you have invested a lot of time and effort into it.
Other times you may have a low self-worth thinking that you don’t deserve a relationship, so you may choose the wrong partners or withdraw from society completely, which then gives you an even lower self-worth making you feel even more unhappy and unfulfilled.
How I Can Help You
Relationship issues can vary considerably and the circumstances which have led to the problems can also vary. Here at Be U Counselling Service based in Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset area can assist you in resolving your relationship issues by exploring why things have gone wrong and looking at ways that they can be resolved. We will work together in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment where you will be free to explore your thoughts and feelings and find solutions to your relationship problems so you can lead a happy life.
I offer a 30 minute, no obligation session, where you can come and meet me, ask me questions or use it as a short counselling session to get a feel for what counselling is like and whether it is something that you want to commit to. This session will also give you an opportunity to discover if you feel comfortable working with me and are able to build a therapeutic relationship with me, which is very important for counselling to take place. If after the 30 minutes, you are happy and would like to commit to the counselling sessions, I will book you in for an assessment session where we will set out a therapeutic contract.
